Pender 3

The Pender 3 is the smallest Hewing Haus model with a fully separate bedroom — a 300 sq ft prefabricated modular home designed for couples, single occupants, or ADU placement where a real bedroom matters. Built at Hewing Haus's Chilliwack, BC facility using cross-laminated timber (CLT) construction, it ships move-in ready and is crane-set onto a prepared foundation.

The layout includes a separate bedroom, full kitchen, living area, and 3-piece bathroom. Two large 8-foot windows fill the home with natural light. The kitchen comes equipped with electric cooktop, oven/microwave combo, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. Cedar vertical cladding, environmentally friendly insulation, and LED lighting throughout reflect Hewing Haus's focus on sustainable, low-impact building.

All Hewing Haus homes are CSA A277 certified and built to be expandable and customizable — with off-grid options including full solar, woodstove, propane stove, composting toilet, and rainwater collection. From order to delivery typically takes as little as 12 weeks.
