Scandinavian Sierra

The Scandinavian Sierra is Lancaster Log Cabins' flagship modern park model — a 408 sq ft (12' × 34') turn-key cabin with a sleeping loft and a 10-foot covered porch. Built on a heavy-duty trailer frame at Lancaster's production facility in Gap, Pennsylvania, it ships RVIA-sealed and ready for placement on a prepared site.

The Scandinavian's modern aesthetic distinguishes it from Lancaster's log cabin lineup while sharing the same structural foundation: 2x6 tongue-and-groove Southern Yellow Pine roof and floor boards, 1x6 pine shiplap walls and ceiling, full batt insulation, and a 26-gauge textured metal roof rated for 40 years. The interior features a cathedral ceiling, vinyl plank flooring over 3/4" subfloor, full electrical package with all light fixtures and outlets, and a ductless mini-split heat/AC system.

The full kitchen comes equipped with a 10 cu ft refrigerator/freezer, 30" electric range, over-the-range microwave, and a 20-gallon electric water heater. The 4-foot shower bathroom includes toilet, vanity, and exhaust fan. All beds and mattresses are included.

As a Park Model RV meeting ANSI A119.5 standards, the Scandinavian Sierra typically does not require permits or property tax in most jurisdictions, and qualifies for RV or tiny-home financing. Lancaster Log Cabins is also a KOA-approved vendor, making this model a common fit for campground placement, vacation rentals, and short-term rental investment.
